Critical Mass
I’m gonna keep this one short and sweet. Anyone in the community that knows me knows that I have partaken in a number of Critical Mass rides in the past. Soon the realization that this (un)organized ride does nothing to help further cycling in Austin, Tx much less the Nation. I’ve heard many argue this claim(which is fair) but I firmly stand my ground. Critical Mass is a joke. It’s beyond my understanding how clogging traffic and generally acting like a drunken mob helps the car/bike relationship. The video below is from the September 2010 Critical Mass.
